Holiday Junction 1999 - Photo Gallery

In December 1999, the SP&S 700 once again paid a visit to OMSI for the Christmas time Holiday Junction celebration. The Lady was present from Saturday 19th to Thursday the 23rd. Dick Samuels graciously permitted the PRPA to run the Lady on his Molala Western tracks adjacent to OMSI. The Lady remained under steam during the week and gave many children and adults a thrill by "taking a stroll" down the the tracks to the water supply (or just for some exercise. It's not everyday people can see a large steam locomotive under steam up close. And the public was invited up into the cab too! Talk about people with big grins!

On Thursday, Dec 23rd, The Lady returned to the roundhouse.
