The SP&S 700 is an E-1 class Northern, built by
Baldwin in 1938 to haul 16 passenger cars at speeds over 90 mph.
Known as "The Lady"
she is the third largest operating steam locomotive in North America and one of
the largest Northern type locomotives ever built.
