The first Time Table and Train Order op session on the BC&SJ!

After what seemed like a never ending stream of preparation the Bear Creek ran under TT&TO for the first time. The trackplan's godfather, Don Mitchel, was in town and he (foolishly?) agreed to dispatch the first session. His knowledge of TT&TO was definitely a good thing!

There were definitely some hiccups but for the most part the layout operated well.

The now standard Carcards & waybills were used for freight fowarding.

We started with a 4:1 fast clock but as the session progressed our lack of experience caught up with us and the clock speed got reduced to 3:1. This helped the DS and operator out but it left train crews waiting for departure times because the amount of time to run from location to location had not also increased.
