Joe Fugate was given a set of pickups and setouts to make that exceeded the track capacity of Jallen. Oops...

He arrived in town with six cars and caboose in tow. and with 3 cars already in Jallen. Try as he might there was no way to do the switching and get the train turned to go back to Bear Creek. We finally got the job done by spotting a car at Bear Creek Salvage in East Jallen. But he didn't have a good time this night!

BC&SJ management responded with a special instruction - total cars in Jallen must not exceed 9 including cars in the arriving Jallen Turn, cars already in Jallen and caboose. After this Jallen became a safer (to the crew's sanity) proposition.
