Jordan Dobson is having a good time tonight. He's one of my regular dispatchers. Tonight he's acting as Chief Dispatcher keeping our guest dispatcher on the straight and narrow (although Jim performed impressively well as DS on his first visit to the Bear Creek and didn't need a lot of helping). Jordan also called crews for each train - a vital job ensuring that trains are manned when they need to be. Tonight we had such a large crew on hand that it wasn't hard to find crews and no extras got delayed in favor of a following regular train. It all seems to be working! No wonder Jordan has his thumb up! Or maybe he's just looking for a ride home?
