Train 201 is on the main (closest to the aisle) while 200 is on A/D1 in Bear Creek. The yardmaster did
his job and the blocks to be swapped are already prepared.
While the mainline and dual A/D tracks are (mostly) in their final configuration, the classification yard is temporary. I'm not sure how big the yard will need to be in order to handle the traffic passing through. Rather than overbuild the yard with too many tracks and waste time and money or under build the yard and have it become a bottleneck, we'll be running with the temporary 6-track classification facility for a while until we learn what the correct size should be. From left to right the tracks are: main, A/D1, A/D2, and class tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. |
