Over in South Jackson Jordan (left) volunteered for yard master duties. Joe (right) took the
three hat position of
Toh Jct. Tower / South Jackson operator / Browning operator. This is the first session for
this position. He'll be copying orders and make OS reports to the dispatcher for trains in South Jackson and Browning.
He also has a phone that crews arriving at the top of the helix (Toh Jct.) use to call in and request a route through
the Toh Jct. interlocking.
Browning (on the left side of the aisle) is the westernmost modeled location on the layout while South Jackson is the easternmost. Off to Jordan's (red shirt) left the two ends of the railroad punch through backdrop and connect to the helix up and down tracks at Toh Jct. |
