Train 200, the Bear Creek Hauler East is departing the temporary Salem staging yard. In December, 2013, Salem was on the wall behind Ross.
It was moved so that the next mile of mainline could be built. Three miles of mainline down, two more to go.
Within a year, the mainline should be completed and Salem will be merged into the main staging on the lower deck. When that happens Salem's location will become the west end of Bear Creek yard (the main yard on the layout) and operation should get even more interesting. |
