While the drama unfolds (slowly) in the yard the GN passenger extra east (a guest on Bare Creek trackage until the GN tracks get repaired but who knows when that will be...) comes down the hill, through Deschutes Jct. and into Mill Bend. Where it will wait (keeping MBT off the main) until the mess in South Jackson clears up.
