The Deschutes Hauler East has come out of Deschutes staging (below Oakhill behind the photographer) and is in Redland. This train will swap blocks with the Redland local switch crew (who hopefully were able to get all their pulls made before DSHE showed up). The cut on the track nearest the aisle is the pickups for DSHE. They'll need all their HP to get a relatively long train up the 2.3% grade to Deshutes Junction today. The DSHE is manned by Peter (nearest) the engineer, another BCSJ first timer), and Paul M. (2nd nearest).
