Hillmovers Construction was not very active in February. Maybe they're just getting lazy. The track gang looked at some tracking problems at some turnouts in Oakhill and the motive power department managed to acquire another GN A unit to have double ended passenger power for the GN passenger extra. They also added a sound decoder to BCSJ #27 (and gave it a complete lube job) which didn't displease the crew of the OHT (which is powered by #27).

The crew call produced a group of 17 boomers lookin' fer action - more than have ever operated on the Bare Creek and one time. This seemed to work fairly well since there are now 15 trains in the line up. And it did give crews coming off duty enough time to get some beans if they didn't want another train immediately.

We ran train line-up h (see the Session Info page for details) for the first time. The session ran 12 fast hours with a 4:1 fast clock (umm... we didn't finish quite on time again).

The hoped for installation of real fast-clocks (from GML) didn't happen so the old, computer screen based clock system was used again (and yes, the repeater worked properly this time). The DCC system worked ok (for the most part).

Brandon T. took the dispatcher job this time. He's done it once before quite a while ago so he was practically a newbie. However, he managed to get the trains across the railroad (although the reefer express did have to wait a while in Oakhill - ahem).

The company photographer went bananas taking pictures and was duly reprimanded for wasting film. To which he replied "What film? It's a digital camera!". Anyway there are lots and lots of pictures this time presented here for your enjoyment.
