Brandon Thompson has picked up another train (busy boy tonight!). This time he's at the throttle of DSHE (the Deschutes Hauler East). Although the Kato RS2 and Atlas RS1 are running fine, there will shortly be a problem.

This train does block swaps at both Redland and South Jackson. But no one thought about blocking the cars picked up at Redland. When DSHE arrives at South Jackson there will be great consternation because there are longs (for Pocatello) mixed in with the cars that need to be dropped at South Jackson. This resulted in the train being split apart occupying the main and siding while the yard crew sorted out which cars to take and which to leave on the train.

Meanwhile the Reefer Madness, a unit reefer train and the hottest thing on the railroad was getting set to depart Salem heading towards South Jackson. Ahem. Luckily everything got cleared up in SJ in time! Next session, DSHE will have formal blocking requirements before it can leave RD!
