Note the transition betweent the asphault and the dirt area.

The spackle cracked a little as it dried leaving a very realistic pattern of cracks in the road surface. I painted the cracks with a little India ink and alchohol to simulate an old and worn tar repair job. The darker parts of the pavement I weathered with powdered chalks.

The dirt area in front of and next to the build varies from being quite smooth to having a bit of tooth to it.
