I was looking for a place to take some outdoor photos and my trusty timesaver was long gone. The answer? Build another diorama! This one is about 18" x 5'. I made it from a couple layers of pink foam with the usual paint, static grass, and ground foam bushes for scenery. Ballast is Smith & Sons limestone.

I used it to shoot the lead photos for Geoff Bunza's Bringing a Crane to Life article in the August 2012 Model Railroad Hobbyist. I was having waay too much fun with the diorama so I thought I'd posts a bunch of shots taken on the diorama.
