Bear Creek and South Jackson III

Mary Keigh and the TerraForming crew from Hillmovers Construction visits Crabtree Creek

Crabtree Creek runs between Junction City and Browning on the BC&SJ where it separates the mainline and the Toledo branch.

Mary Keigh has been hard at work at the creek bed which until now has been completely plywood. The creek bottom is still plywood (not for long) but the creek beds have turned received pink rigid foam insulation.

I remember when I lived in Danville, CA back in the '60s there was a flood/erosion control dam. I thought something like it would look nice on Crabtree creek.

Here's a link to the dam on GoogleMaps: https://www.google.com/maps/@37.805211,-121.9777959,153m/data=!3m1!1e3
and a link to an edited map. Crabtree Creek progress Back in the '60s this area was yet to be built up and was a great place for teenage hooligans to go galivanting.
