Crabtree Creek runs between Junction City and Browning on the BC&SJ where it separates the mainline
and the Toledo branch.
Mary Keigh has been hard at work at the creek bed which until now has been completely plywood. The
creek bottom is still plywood (not for long) but the creek beds have turned received pink rigid foam
insulation.
I remember when I lived in Danville, CA back in the '60s there was a flood/erosion control dam. I thought
something like it would look nice on Crabtree creek.

Back in the '60s this area was yet to be built up and was a great place for teenage hooligans to go galivanting.
