It's kind of hard to see the dam from this satellite's eye view so I circled it. Back in '64 when we moved to Danville I don't remember the dam having ribs on the sloped walls after the dam proper. I wonder if they added them later, or is my memory just bad? The area south of the creek was all walnut orchard back then. Now a different type of nuts live there.
