Construction of Abner hill started in October 2019 by roughing in the hill's contours with chunks of pink foam.
I took some test photos to see how the hill would appear relative to some freight cars on the Toledo branch.
The track in the lower right is the Abner elevator siding. The next track is the BC&SJ mainline (the silver
bridge in the distance carries the mainline above Crabtree Creek). The lowered plywood area beyond the main will
become Crabtree Creek. On the far side of the creek is the Toledo branch line with the Browning highway perched
on top of the pink foam.
