The mainline crosses Crabtree Creek (on what will soon be a brace of through girder bridges). The Luesnes factory is against the backdrop here. I'm arguing with myself whether to finish this walthersville structure or to freelance something a bit more era/locale appropriate for early '50s Oregon. Not in place at the time of this photo a large elevator is served by the track with the three boxcars (it was removed to facilitate construction).
The tracks on the left side of Crabtree Creek (serving the Luesners factory) are the Toledo branch. This branchline runs out to a large paper plant (an unmodeled staging industry) on the Oregon coast near Newport Bay.
