Looking the other direction our of Junction City past the Cook Appliance Distributor (left, foreground),
the car repair facility (left, middle distance), to the Leusner's Factory at the far end
of Abner.
The track leading from Junction City in Abner is a new addition. Without it, the cramped space
available for the Castor Oil Flakes factory would make proper rail service difficult if not
impossible. In effect this creates a new run-around track between Junction City and Abner and the
mainline (not visible to the right of the Darrk Electric building). However, This track will be
hold cars for the Abner bulk oil dealer so use as a run-around will be limited.
The Abner Coop Elevator in the far distance is on the mainline between Albany Junction (where
the Toledo branch that serves Abner leaves the main) and Browing (around the backdrop to the left).
It makes a great backdrop for this scene. And what can be seen beyond the elevator complex is
the track from Mill Bend heading up to Oakhill. This is a very long scene. I like it.
Though far from finished, this scene shows promise of scenic potential!
