Hillmovers Construction finally sent a crew to South Jackson with orders to start shoveling ballast. The South Jackson switch crews were of the opinion, "It's about time!"

As a switch crew that preferred to remain unnamed put it, "We've been having all kinds of trouble telling which track is which in the yard on account of all the ballast and roadbed being plywood. Now with limestone on the main and a cinders/gravel mix elsewhere it's much easier to figure out"

Railroad CEO Comstock remarked, "What they've done looks good, but there are still places where plywood can be seen. They better get with the program and complete the job."
