I'm planning to hide the intersection of the road and the backdrop from direct view with a bunch of foreground trees. When looking down the road, I tried hard to make the perspective where the road enters the backdrop match the foreground road's perspective. It looks promising here. I won't know for sure though until the foreground trees get planted.
