The bridge piers came out really well (again imho). I made them from 3/4" birch plywood cut to shape on a table saw and the corners sanded round. It took about three coats of Kilz primer before the wood grain disappeared and they were ready for the Primer Gray rattle-can. Paul Mack applied the weathering and I scribed their sides with pencil lines to simulate the boards used to make the forms (they didn't have plywood back then).
