May 2, 2015 - The cardboard mesh has been extended. I build hardshell scenery using a 50/50 mix of US Gypsum No.1 casting plaster and vermiculite (with a bit of tempra powder tinting. The masking tape over the cardboard mesh gives a good idea of the final hill contours as well is a place to scoop the plaster/vermiculite slurry.
