BCSJ III - Oakhill Construction to mid June, 2007

Progress hasn't been as fast as management would like, but slowly the Oakhill environment is taking shape. For the enjoyment of your oculars here are a few pictures showing the current state of progress.

  • Some progress has been made on the backdrop
  • The swing bridge just to the right (railroad west) of Oakhill is received its scenic contours and the first layer of brown and green stuff. And yes, the guys at Hillmovers construction didn't manage to get paint on the bearing surface and leave it permanently closed!
  • The giant pit in central Oakhill has been replaced with a raisible access hatch complete with scenery! Holy tectonic plates Batman!
  • The rock carving and painting crews have done a bit more work and it don't look half-bad.
  • The gravel quarry is now roughed in (and waiting for the attention of those rock carvers and painters.

I hope you enjoy this construction update.
