I made the tunnel liner by carving a form out of pink foam, covering it with crumpled up aluminum foil, then painting plaster over it using a layer of cheesecloth for "re-bar". After several coats of plaster it was strong enough to slide off the form and peel out the aluminum foil. I painted the inside of the tunnel with black spray paint before installing it.
