Baynes Valley will be bridged by a pile trestle with a deck girder span over the state highway passing under the tracks.

Canyon Creek is several feet to the right (uphill) while Mill Bend is on the left (downhill).

The foreground track is the Deschutes branch leading down to Redland and Bend on the lower deck.
