You're looking at what will become the Oakhill wye track. The cork is down but track's not installed quite yet.

Before I do install the track I'll need to sand a ramp into the cork for the team track to bring it down to the level of the plywood. Mainline is highest (on 1/4" cork), sidings are next highest (on 1/8" cork), while spurs are sometimes laid directly on the roadbed.
