This is the Mill Bend area looking east toward the temporary staging area (that will become South Jackson at some point). This was the part of the old layout I saved and installed in the new basement. A year of storage in a moving company warehouse didn't damage the track or turnouts but I did have it braced pretty well with a bunch of 2x4s and covered all the trackwork with protective plywood skins.
