To add some increased operation to the BC&SJ while waiting for the
mainline to be completed, I provided a "causeway" to connect the
Bear Creek and Jallen modules to the main layout. They are accessed
from a turnout on the Salem arrival lead.
A tired Charlie stands in front of the doorway to the main layout area on June 22, 2001. Behind me is the Bear Creek industrial area. To the viewer's right of me the upper swing bridge is open. There's nothing quite like lunatic commitments to have things working for an op session to get construction going! I hope you've found this tour of interest.
