Our train, BCHW, has cleared Shelburn and is nearly down into Bear Creek. In fact the SD-7s are about to enter Bear Creek Yard Limits.

Above us is Pocatello and where we started our trip. When the mainline is completed the temporary Pocatello staging area will be replaced by track from Idanha (on the left) leading up hill to Camp Sherman.

Scenery in this area will be gently rolling hills with a river crossing just behind our train.
