The mainline to Salem staging heads downhill (to the lower left)
after passing the tower at Bear Creek Junction (the Bear Creek
cutoff / reverse loop). The horizontal piece of wood clamped to the top
of a
peninsula stud indicates the aproximate height of the next deck.
